The water balance is the instrument.

Every day the controller runs an FAO-56 ET₀ depletion model for each zone — how much water the soil lost to evaporation and your plants. A soil-moisture sensor corrects the model so the dose matches reality, and it learns your soil and your sprinklers over time. Every zone gets exactly what it needs — not what a clock guessed.
